Change Your World

Love this! Propagated s uccessfully after years of trying :)  "Surround yourself with only people who are  going to lift you higher."  ~Oprah Winfrey~ "Change your thoughts, and you change your world."  ~Norman Vincent Peale~  "If something comes to life in others  because of you,  then you have made an approach to immortality."  ~Norman Cousins~   About this Website

Prayer for Generosity

Lord, teach me to be generous. Teach me to serve you as you deserve; to give and not count the cost; to fight and not heed the wounds; to toil and not seek for rest; to labor and not ask for reward, except to know that I am doing your will. Amen.   Author: St. Ignatius of Loyola   Source: http://www.appleseeds.org/loyola1.htm

The Peace Prayer

Lord , Make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light, and Where there is sadness, joy.  My joyful plants under the sunlight!   O , Divine Master , Grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and It is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Taking The Moment

“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.” ~Gilda Radner~ Take advantage of the ambiguity in the world. Look at something and think what else it might be. ~Roger von Oech~ _____________________________________

A Prayer For Unfailing Strength

Do not look forward to  what may happen tomorrow;  the same everlasting Father who cares for you today  will take care of you tomorrow and every day.  Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you  unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace, then.  Put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations, and say continually:  "The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me, and I in Him." Source: http://www.prayers-for-special-help.com/
