Tiger populations by 2022

Tiger, Tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
~William Blake~

"According to WWF's plan in helping the remaining tiger population by 2022, their goals are to eradicate threats and create environments where they can thrive.  The main concerns are that 3 subspecies are already extinct. Tiger habitats have shrunk by over 40% in the last decade alone. Today, tigers are limited to only 7% of their historical range. The illegal trade in wild life is the third largest form of organised crime in the world after arms and drugs!
Tigers will soon be gone  ....almost gone  forever." (Source: WWF )

Gaertner To live a life of gratitude is to open our eyes to the countless ways in which we are supported by the world around us. Such a life provides less space for our suffering because our attention is more balanced. We are more often occupied with noticing what we are given, thanking those who have helped us, and repaying the world in some concrete way for what we are receiving. Gregg Krech Explore This Website

What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.”   Thomas Merton Explore This Website
