The Remedy Joy

“When a person or a society suffers devaluation and disintegration, certainly in the bottom of their hearts they lack peace and joy,
 and sadness nests.
Disunity and contempt are children of sorrow. Sadness is a truth that belongs to the spirit of this world,
 and the remedy is joy.”
Pope Francis

Chuck Palahniuk

Courage & Strength

“Courage isn't having the strength to go on  - it is going on when you don't have strength.” ~Napoleon Bonaparte~ “Man often becomes what he believes himself to be.  If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing,  it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it.  On the contrary,  if I have the belief that I can do it,  I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it  even if I may not have it at the beginning.”  ~Mahatma Gandhi~ That was exactly what I had experienced, when it comes to my study!  I had in many occasions needed to persuade, remind or even encourage myself in believing that "I can do it".  My motto was that "I have no knowledge of this subject, I am here to learn!".  After going through the ups and downs plus nearly two years off study; in September this year I finally graduated.
