The Future & Opportunities

“When one door closes another door opens;
 but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door,
that we do not see the ones which open for us.”
 Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922)

“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
Peter F. Drucker (1909-2005)

“Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones come daily.
Ivy Baker Priest (1905- 1975)

Just recently I read a special report about some big opportunities as highlighted in the Australia Asian Century white paper. No doubt, I believe engaging 'meaningful interaction' and 'cultural differences' could enhance collaboration in ‘building stronger connections and partnerships’ for future relationships; taking advantages of the world’s largest economic power by 2025.

Gaertner To live a life of gratitude is to open our eyes to the countless ways in which we are supported by the world around us. Such a life provides less space for our suffering because our attention is more balanced. We are more often occupied with noticing what we are given, thanking those who have helped us, and repaying the world in some concrete way for what we are receiving. Gregg Krech Explore This Website

Recognize The Possibilities

What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.”   Thomas Merton Explore This Website

Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come.  Anne Lamott Hope is the companion of power, and mother of success; for who so hopes strongly has within him the gift of miracles. Samuel Smiles  Explore This Website
